There’s Power in the Name of Jesus.

Don’t be lured into today’s mentality that doesn’t want the mention of the Name of Jesus. Jesus is God and He has been given authority by God the Father.

  • Philippians 2:9-11 New King James Version – Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The Name of Jesus is known and honored in Heaven. Everything on earth will eventually have to submit to His Name. It’s better to bow at Jesus’ Name now, than be forced to bow later. Jesus loves us and died for us, He deserves our respect.

We can know that we have eternal life because of what Jesus did for us. Look at what the Bible says…

  • 1 John 5:13 New King James Version – These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
  • Acts 4:12 New King James Version – Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
  • John 14:6 New King James Version – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Prayer is answered because of the Name of Jesus.

  • John 14:13-14 New King James Version – And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
  • John 15:7-8 New King James VersionIf you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
  • Acts 2:21 New King James Version  And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’
  • 1 John 2:1 New King James Version My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

The only way out of Hell is through Jesus Christ. We were all born into sin. The wages of sin is death. He paid our way out by dying for us.

  • Colossians 2:13-15 Living Bible 13 You were dead in sins, and your sinful desires were not yet cut away. Then he gave you a share in the very life of Christ, for he forgave all your sins, 14 and blotted out the charges proved against you, the list of his commandments which you had not obeyed. He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ’s cross. 15 In this way God took away Satan’s power to accuse you of sin, and God openly displayed to the whole world Christ’s triumph at the cross where your sins were all taken away.

This is a daily walk with God. We must stay in Him. Repentance of sin is necessary. And we must be sincere. God is not mocked.

  • Hebrews 12:25 New King James Version – 25 So see to it that you obey Him who is speaking to you. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, how terrible our danger if we refuse to listen to God who speaks to us from heaven! 26 When he spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but, “Next time,” he says, “I will not only shake the earth but the heavens too.”  27 By this he means that he will sift out everything without solid foundations so that only unshakable things will be left. 28 Since we have a Kingdom nothing can destroy, let us please God by serving him with thankful hearts and with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

We are healed in the Name of Jesus.

  • Acts 3:6-8 Living Bible But Peter said, “We don’t have any money for you! But I’ll give you something else! I command you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” 7-8 Then Peter took the lame man by the hand and pulled him to his feet. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankle bones were healed and strengthened so that he came up with a leap, stood there a moment and began walking! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

Don’t let anyone take the Name of Jesus out of your mouth.
